Elin Troedsson

Elin Troedsson joined T-Kartor in December 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience in events, fairs, and service roles. As an administrator, Elin's focus is now on supporting employees and ensuring smooth operations across the company.

"I'm a typical admin person who works together and for all the employees in the company," she shares. Elin's responsibilities range from booking trips and meetings to managing the building and grounds in Sweden, where she's also involved in environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Elin's passion for service shines through in her daily work. "I really like it when I can help the employees. I think my work is to make their days better," she says.

Whether it's organizing travel, managing the office, or simply making life easier for her colleagues, Elin thrives on collaboration and creating a positive atmosphere.

She describes herself as social and enjoys connecting with everyone at T-Kartor, helping foster the company's unique spirit.

When asked about the culture at T-Kartor, Elin describes it as "very familiar" and notes that employees take pride in being part of the team. 

"It's the T-Kartor spirit," she says, emphasizing the sense of pride and camaraderie that defines the workplace. Elin helped organize the company's 40th anniversary celebration in Sweden, further strengthening these bonds.

Although Elin's role is primarily administrative, she's always curious about the work of T-Kartor's developers and cartographers.

"I'm still wondering what the developers are doing," she laughs, but she's happy to support the team in any way she can.

Looking ahead, Elin is optimistic about T-Kartor's future. "I think we are in a position now where we're just moving forward, and we're going to have many more employees and take more contracts, and bigger companies and states will work with us. I'm definitely sure about it," she predicts.

At the same time, Elin values the company's roots in Kristianstad and its commitment to the local community.

For those considering a role at T-Kartor, Elin's advice is simple: "Every person can grow in their work here. It's both good for you to grow in your role and also a good place where one works."

Elin highlights the supportive office environment and frequent after-work gatherings as part of what makes T-Kartor special.

Outside of work, Elin lives on a farm with her husband and two daughters, where they care for nine horses. Riding is a lifelong passion for Elin, and she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

"After T-Kartor, I switch from the office clothes and jump into my riding clothes," she says. The farm keeps her busy, but she's always looking forward to new adventures, perhaps another trip to Great Britain in the future.
