Adam Poling
October 2025

In 2023, Adam Poling joined T-Kartor as a geospatial analyst working with the Quality Control team, and his contributions to the field and experience serving in the United States Air Force are truly invaluable.
In Addition to his Air Force career, Adam's background includes working for Wiser Imagery Services and returning to school to earn a degree from Indiana State University.
After graduation, Adam knew he wanted to get back into the geospatial field, which led to his connection and current role with T-Kartor's U.S based team.
Working in quality control, Adam's mission is to comb through details and ensure all content meets quality standards. His military background allows him to understand how geospatial data can critically impact critical decision-making.
During his tenure at T-Kartor, Adam has had the opportunity to improve his problem-solving and communication skills and hone his leadership abilities.
Each day, Adam looks forward to his interactions with his coworkers and the management team. He values the team-oriented, employee-focused environment T-Kartor creates, and the emphasis placed on employees being at the heart of the company.
AI continues to take the world by storm, and while it's hard to predict on what scale it will impact the world at, Adam believes it will become essential to the geospatial industry over the next decade.
He anticipates AI and automation changing how we approach data management; this would be extremely beneficial to small businesses in the coming years, as it will provide them with ample opportunity to utilize geospatial tools.
With his lengthy experience in geospatial intelligence, Adam has plenty of tips for newcomers. He recommends that anyone starting in geospatial let their curiosity and passion drive them and never let an opportunity to learn pass them by; asking questions is key to promoting active engagement and improvement.
When we ask what people like to do outside of work, some people have to think hard to name their hobbies.
Adam is not one of those.
He considers himself a free spirit and enjoys all sorts of activities, such as attending concerts, cooking, cycling, playing video games, rock climbing, and playing the guitar. You might find him at car shows with his 1967.5 Datsun Fairlady 1600 Roadster.
Additionally, he has recently gotten into storm chasing with his sister.
Adam is looking forward to his upcoming trip with his family to Hawai'i in November, where he will explore the islands and take a (well-deserved) break.
