We’re growing our physical presence in France, and looking for a Senior Cartographer (Quality Assurance) with an extensive track record of delivering high-quality, user-facing map products that expertly balance finesse and simplicity, and inform, inspire and influence in equal measure.

About the Role
As a Senior Cartographer at T-Kartor, you will be an essential player in project teams responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining world-class cartographic products and services. You will collaborate with, guide and motivate colleagues across departments to guarantee successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
This position is based in the Paris region (Île-de-France) and is a hybrid role, mixing regular on-site and remote working. You will report to our Director, Head of Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Written and spoken fluency in both French and English is essential.
- Create, review, edit and deliver public-facing map products to exact specifications
- Ensure the highest cartographic standards are consistently maintained within challenging deadlines
- Identify and develop efficient methods and processes that support very large-volume production
- Proactively engage with customers, responding to their needs with pride and professionalism
- Utilise GIS-based tools and datasets that support your work and that of your colleagues
- Stay current with GIS and cartographic trends and advancements to recommend and implement best practices
- Provide support, training and mentorship to junior team members

We seek applicants possessing the following or similar qualifications:
Written and spoken fluency in both English and French (ECRL minimum level C1)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field
- Extensive experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator and InDesign)
- Expert-level understanding of cartography with an unrivalled attention to detail
- Highly refined problem-solving and analytical skills
- Supreme communication skills with the ability to succinctly present complex concepts to others regardless of their knowledge of the subject
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience working in the mapping industry, specifically cartography and content management
- Experience working with GIS software (e.g. QGIS Desktop/Server, ESRI ArcGIS) would be beneficial
- Working knowledge of other European languages (especially German and Spanish) would be a distinct advantage
- Some practical knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) would be a plus
