How T-Kartor’s Heart Grew Three Sizes This Year

December 16, 2024

As the holiday season wraps us in its warm embrace, we at T-Kartor can't help but reflect on a year filled with challenges, triumphs, and moments that made our hearts grow—perhaps not unlike a certain green character from Whoville.

Yes, inspired by Dr. Seuss's whimsical world, we're taking a page (or rhyme) from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas to look back at 2024 and ahead to the bright horizon of 2025.

In 2024, though the world was quite busy,

T-Kartor never faltered, even when things got dizzy.

From maps to wayfinding, geospatial galore,

We charted new paths; we opened new doors.

A Year to Celebrate

This year, our global team accomplished remarkable feats:

  • We advanced wayfinding solutions for cities and spaces, helping people navigate with confidence.
  • We forged partnerships that made a real impact, from safety to sustainability.
  • We begin to celebrate 40 years of T-Kartor—a legacy of innovation and excellence.

None of this would have been possible without our employees' dedication, our customers' trust, our partners' collaboration, and the unwavering support of our families and friends.

A Message of Hope

As we turn the page to 2025, let's take inspiration from the Whos of Whoville, who taught us that community and kindness can shine the brightest even in challenging times.

Here's to a new year of hope, peace, and prosperity. Together, we will continue to grow, innovate, and make the world a more thoughtful, more navigable place.

A Thank You (Seussian Style)

To our team near and far, from east to the west,

You're the heartbeat of T-Kartor; you're truly the best.

To our partners and clients who've walked by our side,

Your trust is our compass, our map, and our guide.

To our families and friends, whose support means so much,

You're our anchor, our strength, our magical touch.

What's Ahead In The Coming New Year

In 2025, we're charting new courses, tackling bold challenges, and continuing to lead the way in geospatial solutions. We're ready for what's next and hope you are too.

As Dr. Seuss reminds us, "Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." And at T-Kartor, the spirit of community and innovation keeps growing, just like our hearts.

Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year!

 Warmest regards,

 Mats Pålsson & Simon Bailey

When we started working on the next generation of Iris, the goal wasn't to build just another content management platform or data portal. We were trying to solve a deeper, more persistent problem that nearly every organization inevitably faces: the inability to connect information from systems that were never designed to work together in the first place. Whether a government agency manages sensitive spatial data or a coalition of partners responds to a crisis across borders, the challenge is always the same. Data is often stuck in silos, systems are traditionally built by vendors using proprietary formats, and people who need answers fast are left waiting while teams scramble to translate, convert, and clean up the mess. This was the pain point Iris was designed to eliminate.
