London bus spider maps
Transport for London bus spider maps are now as common around London as the famous Tube map they are based on. T-Kartor has been making these maps for TfL since their conception in 2000. There are now over 950 around the capital.
The main features leading to their success are as follows:
Where to catch your bus hub
The spider hub shows available bus stops within the spider’s hub area. These bus stops are refered to in the table of possible destinations.
Multi modal transport interchanges
Interchanges are clearly marked between different bus routes and at interchanges with other modes of transport.
Route finder table
Showing bus routes leaving the hub area, their end destination and the relevant bus stop.
Destination finder table
Destinations for all routes are listed with route and bus stop required to get there.
