Bus stop ticket retailer maps
The introduction of the Oyster Card and cashless buses in London 2003 facilitated the need for 14,000 unique maps to show the nearest ticket outlets in the vicinity of each bus stop. Other important features of the maps are places of interest and other modes of public transport.
Several data sources are merged into one seamless database over the whole of London. With frames in place centred on each bus stop, automated techniques produce the substantial volume of maps and a quality control workflow ensures that every file is checked and the correct bus stop identified before printing.
