Are your web-based geospatial applications primarily visualization tools for displaying information? If so, you know that these are often limited when it comes to advanced analysis and geospatial processing.
A WPS provides a centralized production environment in which access, processes, and output can be managed and subsequently optimized. For organizations that need to provide on-demand spatial analysis, users can work from one collective data pool to create value added data products from custom front ends. Resulting derivatives are automatically cataloged by the data management system and immediately available to other users.
During this presentation, attendees will learn how spatial models are delivered to other users over the Internet via interoperable geoprocessing services. In addition, this presentation will demonstrate executing a change detection process within a single WPS process.
