T-Kartan Produkt AB (TKP), a company within T-Kartor Group, have signed a 3-year contract (2009-2011) with FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), commissioned by the Swedish Armed Forces to purchase the contract.
. The contract is in three parts;
- Maintenance of ERDAS products that the Armed forces use today.
- The right to purchase T-Kartans Produkts other products directly.
- Framework agreement for ordering T-Kartan Produkts GIS competence.
ERDAS is used already today within the Swedish Armed Forces for remote sensing purposes. Recent development of ERDAS products gives many opportunities to increase usage. Effective management using international standards improves communication within the armed forces and with other organisations in Sweden and abroad.
